Purchase Agreement & Return Policy

All transactions conducted through this site, as well as through any other online services, are subject to this Purchase Agreement.

SHIPPING & DELIVERY: Shipping is available to any of the 50 states and Washington, DC for an additional flat rate depending on the item. USPS is our preferred shipping carrier within the United States. Shipping charges are nonrefundable, even if the item is returned. Please email sandracharlapart@gmail.com with any questions.

SALES TAX: New Jersey Residents ONLY: The Illustrated Pet charges 6.625% NJ sales tax for merchandise ordered based on the applicable state sales tax rate and the location to which the order is being shipped.

USE OF PHOTOS: I may use any artwork and accompanying photos and testimonials on my website and social media (Instagram and Facebook) unless the client expresses an objection.

RETURNS & REFUNDS: Items that are not commissioned, such as giclee prints, paintings, and craft kits, may be returned for a refund within 14 days if you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason. The customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping, and the initial shipping costs will not be refunded. Commissioned items, such as custom aerial maps and pet portraits, cannot be refunded.

DEPOSITS: Custom art pieces (commissions) require a 50% deposit upfront, with the remaining 50% to be paid when the piece is finished. This does not include pet portraits.

Privacy Policy

E-MAIL: Your e-mail address is private information, and you have my assurance that I do not rent or sell your e-mail address to anyone. I use your email address to send you order-related emails, like shipping confirmations. On occasion I may send a brief e-mail to you informing you of any special offers, promotions, or upcoming in-person exhibitions.  If you don't want me to e-mail you, you are free to unsubscribe at any time using the link in the bottom of each e-mail.

OTHER PRIVATE INFORMATION: Your address and payment information are used only for purchasing and shipping purposes.
